OnStage 2018 Swaps

I'm finally over my OnStage hangover, so I thought I'd share some of my swaps. These I created with some current and retiring products for general swapping. I'll share the cards I received over the next few weeks.

I was also fortunate enough to get a new stamp set, dies, and colors ahead of time to present to the group. Yes I was stamping infant of 350 fellow demonstrators! There was some minor technical difficulties, but it went well and I had a good time. Here's a look at me talking with my hands on stage (thanks to my new friend Tamara for the photos!)

So what did I make? Here's two cards that I made with the new "Lilypad Lake" stamp set and "Lakeside" framelits...

Aren't they amazing? I loved colouring in the images, and there's some fantastic greetings as well. Tune in later when I'll show you some neat techniques with this bundle. If you'd like to get a copy of the new catalogue once it's available next month, let me know now so that I can put you on my list!

West Coast Creators Swap - Occasions 2018

To continue our regularly scheduled programming... I participated in a swap with some members of the West Coast Creators! Here's some of the amazing cards we swapped...

Debbie's card featured a unique shape that allowed the inside to peek through!

I love this technique, gives dimension and interest to any short word.

This card features an interactive piece that slides to reveal more stamping!

And of course the inside is decorated as well!

Last but not least, here is my contribution.

If you'd like to participate in swaps, get some creative card ideas, or just get a discount on your supplies, you can join our team and be included in the next one!

Just a quick share of a card I helped a friend make. I love making these custom cards, and bringing a smile to someones face on their birthday is always an added bonus.

Sale-A-Bration Hello

Did you know that many of our stamp sets are available in French too? I made this card twice with the same stamp set in both English and French, just changing the colour up a little bit!

Best of all? You can get either (or both) of these stamp sets for FREE when you place an order! This set is actually only available until Feb 15th, when it will be replaced with some new sets! Take a look at all the free products you can get during Sale-A-Bration here, and the three new products you can get starting on Feb 16 here.

Shine On Collection

The Shine On designer series paper is sooooo pretty! It's printed with silver foil on one side (there's six different patterns) and colours on the other. The kraft background makes it heavier than normal DSP so perfect for 3D projects, but I used it to make a birthday card.

I even added a few little scraps punched out as balloons on the inside!

Stampin' Up! had some great samples too, making tags and boxes with this paper is a dream!

Like with all the collections from the Occasions Catalogue, I've put together a share package to let you get your hands on some product without having to buy the whole farm! Contact me if you're interested in this, or any of my other shares.

Party Wishes bundle

One of my favourite things in every Stampin' Up! catalogue is the bundles. I'm a sucker for anything that coordinates, be it a punch and a stamp, or a ribbon and a piece of paper. Bundles give you an automatic 15% discount on buying things together, which also appeals to the deal finder in me!

Today I'm featuring the Party Wishes bundle, which includes an awesome birthday themed stamp set and a trio of super sweet punches. The great thing about this bundle is that even if you have no other craft supplies, it's not a huge investment to get going and making your own birthday cards! Most of the projects I'm going to show you use nothing more than a couple punches, some paper, ink, and stamps. It's dead easy to coordinate with paper you already have too, so use up some of that stash!.

First I'll show you the cards I made...

And these are the ones from Stampin' Up! all showing off this awesome stamp set and punch bundle.
